Certified Clean™ means that you can be certain that every component of our products, i.e. every stitch, dye and thread, have been tested for harmful substances and are proven to be harmless for human health. Why is this important? The US intimates industry is highly unregulated. High levels of harmful chemicals like PFAs and BPA can be hiding within your clothing and manufacturers aren't required to inform you of them. Those chemicals are then absorbed through your skin into your body. Absorption rates increase with heat and moisture making the areas of your body that your bra, underwear and tops cover especially vulnerable. That's why we set a new standard: bio-engineered intimates made with Certified Clean™ materials.
Every component — from the fabric and thread to the dyes and elastics — is independently tested to meet OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 requirements for harmful substances.
Our Certified Clean™ products are made without harmful levels of substances including:
PFAS & “forever chemicals”
No PFAS-based treatments designed to create stain, water, or chemical resistance.
Formaldehyde
No formaldehyde as a harmful substance in our certified materials.
Chlorine bleach
No chlorine bleach in our Certified Clean materials.
Pesticides & herbicides
No harmful levels of pesticides or herbicides such as glyphosate.
Heavy metals
Materials are tested for harmful substances including heavy metals.
Harmful dyes
Our dyes are tested as part of the finished product — because clean fabric means more than just choosing a natural-looking fiber.
BPA, phthalates & other substances of concern
Vibrant’s materials are tested against a broad range of substances that can be harmful when present above established safety limits.
Vibrant will pay the shipping costs on all returns and exchanges.
For many women, the Vibrant bra feels different than bras they currently wear. That’s a good thing! Before you decide to return it, we encourage you to wear it more than once.
To receive a full refund:
- The bra cannot be damaged, stained or discolored.
- The bra cannot be machine washed (hand washing with a non-toxic soap is recommended, but please do so after you’ve committed to keep it).
- Your bra is postmarked to us less than 30 days after your purchase date.
To exchange for a different size, please indicate your preference on the return/exchange page/packaging insert and include it when you send your bra back. We’ll take any appropriate packaging. We’ll process your new bra as fast as we can, and will contact you via email when it ships.
Refunds for the entire amount billed to your card will be credited to the card you used to make the original transaction.
If you received a bra that you think may be defective, please contact customer service immediately! We’ll make it right!
